Devta Doolan Studio

Devta Doolan is known for his bold and distinctive gold jewelry that utilizes rare and exceptional gemstones. In his own words: “I want my work to be direct and engaging. I  work primarily with 22 karat gold which is as rich and lustrous as the colors of the gems. The goal is for there to be minimal intervention on my part. My jewelry is all about the color of the gold and gems working together in harmony. I am influenced by ancient and ethnographic jewelry and I aim to bring that into a modern context. I  appreciate the historical and cultural significance of adorning oneself with jewelry and I see this  as a means to both  tell a story and express one’s identity.”

Devta Doolan is a jeweler who lives and works in Deer Isle, Maine where he opened his namesake store in 2017.
